Kid icarus has been crushing eggplant wizards since his formative years in the Bay Area, CA. He fell in love with Seattle a really long time ago and thinks this town is rocking some of the greatest cuisine in the country. He totally can’t understand why Top Chef hasn’t filmed here yet.
Kid icarus formerly blogged as the Gastronaut, but that particular alter ego met an untimely demise during an altercation with a group of NARN protestors outside of Lark.
Feel free to leave a comment if there’s a particular place you think I should check out or would like me to review!

What a great idea to do such thorough restaurant reviews! I wish I lived in Seattle so I could eat at some of these places; plan to visit soon, tho… 🙂

hey there, love the site. Recommend txori, if you haven’t been there (from Joseba Jimenez de Jimenez of the Harvest vine)
by the way…you might want to rearrange that index. You and I may know all the chef’s names, but most probably don’t. 😉

Hey “Kid Icarus” from your former Seattlite friends now ensconced in sunny and warm Phoenix. Great blog! Love the review of the Barking Frog and the “drunk MS kids.” Oh, how we don’t miss that : )

I just wanted to thank you for your blog. It helped give me some great inspiration for places to eat while I was visiting lovely Seattle. It was a fabulous time and the food was amazing practically everywhere we went. Loved a meal at Crush (birthday dinner 4 course meal) and swooned over the soup and sandwich at Homegrown. So many other great places as well. Thanks!
